X-Lab's Climbing Specialist!

The X-LAB RT9 is a high-performance, competitive climbing bike. Developed by X-LAB, The RT9 is part of the team’s official equipment for the 2026 WorldTour season - mostly for mountain stages. The bike has been spotted in the peloton during events like the Giro d’Italia, showcasing its capabilities in professional racing.

The RT9 features a lightweight carbon frame, weighing around 560 grams, making it one of the lightest in its class. The frame geometry is optimized for climbing, with round tube shapes and integrated cable routing to reduce drag. This design is inspired by models like the Specialized Aethos, emphasizing agility and responsiveness on ascents.

Although the battle rages on in who is the lightest and greatest, the RT9 was crowned "Lightest Production Road Bike in the World" in Dec 2025 by Outside Magazine, so this bike is playin' with the Big Boyz.

Note the RT9 is made in 4 sizes, with Large (56cm) being the largest, no XL in production on this model.
